OK..hopefully you've been busy....I admit..I seemed to get over my head sometimes with obligations..and yes I've been very busy fighting with contracts..writing training..and attempting to sleep in between. But I am back now..and if you want to learn the basics of social media..I'm starting a new series tomorrow!

It is an outline of a 90 minute training I have created on basic Web 2.0 broken down in blog posts. Just remember if you get one thing out of it...it served its purpose! Also for the seasoned it's also a good reminder of things to do if you have been actively blogging and social networking.

Key Words, Tags, Categories-Are You Confused Yet?

How do we install meta tags in our blogs?

key words, tags, categories..on this platform all the same!

You have a “category” box in your blog with which you can “categories” your blog into. These categories in your blog template are also your meta tags. Create a blog article, load your “meta tags” into the category box and choose “ctrl highlight” the terms you want to meta tag to your blog. Post and you will see them in your blog.

Making The Best Use Of Key Words!

Ever notice some blog posts you read..the text is bold and italicized..no not the whole post but important key words? Key words that Google is trying to recognize and read..for SEO purposes.

If you are currently not linking to other posts..that's OK..but for the sake of blogging..some write as if it's a letter...pat yourself on the back and don't feel bad about it..most real estate professionals and loan officers are not writing at all....But for those that do..you may not be getting all of the benefits that blogging offers.

Important Key Words Tips!

Ever hear of key word stuffing? Seems Google doesn't like it...and penalizes you for it..read the full article here.

Ever see posts without links but certain terms, phrases and words..bold and italicized...google loves it..read the story here.

Remember not everyone reads left to right..some skim and read from right to left..some enjoy photo's while others want just the facts.....some words and terms can and will stick out..do yourself a favor...and make the best use of your key words! If you are writing..pat yourself on the back but better yet..take advantage of the use of key words!

The Eyes Go As You Age-Does That Include Spelling?

Right now I need spell check..while many copy and paste their blogs from word. I write within the platform..and I must admit..sometimes the words look smaller and my spelling..not good.

Oh the signs of aging..and I wonder...if you forget how to spell as you age?

Here is an online solution because I was desperate for spellcheck..I went to source online it's free, click here!

So I copied and pasted my text on the site and hit spell check! Don't you love the net..it seems everything is at your finger tips. Well except...coffee!
